Sellers description:
1967 Jaguar Mark II
Very nice car from Southern California. Rust free. Quality cosmetic restoration in the mid 90’s. Professional conversion to Chevy V/8 engine and automatic transmission at the same time. Great combination…. A reliable and very elegant driver. Drives and handles wonderful.
EXTERIOR: As mentioned rust free and no evidence of prior accident damage. High quality repaint, however it is 10 years old. Has lost some of its original deep luster and has a few slight nicks as expected from age. Very nice as is and always gets lots of nice compliments. Chrome is exceptional; very bright luster. Stainless window trim and rubbers excellent. Rust free, dry chassis. Overall very good condition. Ready to enjoy….
INTERIOR: Very nice throughout. High quality and correct leather seats are excellent. Wood was properly refinished and looks stunning! Carpet and headliner is the correct replacement type and looks great. Nice dash and gages. Without doubt much money was invested during the interior restoration. Shows careful use. Overall excellent.
MECHANICAL: As mentioned was professionally converted to a Chevy V/8 drive train with a 350 cubic inch engine and turbo automatic transmission. Was told it was a conversion kit that was offered during the 90‘s that included proper mounts etc. Has Chevy components including the alternator and power steering pump. Has electric fuel pump. Uses factory gages. Runs as new, strong and responsive and at a correct cool temperature. Lots of power. Fun to drive! Custom exhaust does rattle a little bit at times. Fuel gage is not accurate. Speedometer is not working. Has in dash AM/FM CD stereo player. Overall very good condition and ready to enjoy. Reliable and easy to service.
SUMMARY: A great Jaguar to own. Elegant and popular style. Looks stock yet has reliable and easy to service mechanics. Great value at my reasonable reserve.
