Car to be at auction 11/23
angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic-auctions/2610-04-Nov-2023/3729~1-1972-jaguar-420-g

Auction description:
Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th November
1972 JAGUAR 420 G
Estimate: £6,000 - £8,000

V5 present
MoT exempt
Chassis number: B1D57911BW

Although its V5C states that this Jaguar 420G was manufactured in 1972, its chassis number (which is incorrectly recorded, as it should start with a ‘G' rather than a ‘B’ as on the V5C) shows it as being constructed during the first half of 1970. It was re-registered in the UK during January 2019, since when it has had four registered keepers. The odometer shows 73,850 miles and there's no record of an MoT although, as an historic vehicle, the Jaguar no longer requires annual testing. The documentation with the car runs to the V5C and a single bill for £1070 in December 2019 for a new starter motor, oil service and to free of a jammed steering column.
