I am obsessive-compulsive about my Jaguars (as we all are on this list). The 420G is a car I like to drive so I'm continually thinking of ways to improve it. For example, it now has a Luminition magnetronic distributor setup. Purist may object, but I found the 14 inch wheels a bit limiting and replaced them with 15 inch wheels from an early XJ6. What a difference an inch makes! Now running on Bridgestone Turanza radials.

I also replaced the radio console/ashtray with a recycled piece which I had to cut up and refinish (in order to match the existing wood trim) so I could fit a modern stereo. Again, what a difference!

I enjoy being a RHD in a LHD world.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
