    Chassis number: G1D55127BW - supplied on March 18th 1968 by Parker's in Bolton, to a local man in Leyland who remained the cars owner for over 20 years, we can see from the history file that this car was sold at auction by Sotherby's of New Bond Street during 1997 and found a new owner in the Edinburgh area where the car was used primarily as a chauffeur driven limousine. Now recording 7 previous keepers from new the vehicle has been in the ownership of the current recorded keeper and vendor since 2010 and is affectionately called "Ruby". Pesented in Opalescent Maroon this example is provided with a Jaguar Heritage certificate, the DVLA keeper records, a quanitity of previous MOT certificates, operating handbook and benefits from an current MOT certificate until September 2018. Launched at the London Motor Show in October 1966 as a replacement for the Mark X the 420G was distinct from the Mark X only by the addition of a vertical central bar splitting the grille in two, side indicator repeaters on the front wings, and a chrome strip along the wing and door panels, two tone paint schemes were also available with the chrome strip omitted. Interior changes included perforations in the central sections of the leather seats,
