This 1953 Jaguar Mk VII is a left-hand-drive example that was acquired by the seller in 2005 and is noted to have previously been part of the Walter Hill collection. Finished in ivory over red leather upholstery, the car is powered by a 3.4-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes twin SU carburetors, power steering, a sunroof, a badge bar, and 16″ steel wheels with hubcaps as well as front bucket seats, wood trim, and air conditioning. This Mk VII is now offered with a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

Finished in ivory, the car is equipped with a sunroof, badge bar, and two-piece windshield in addition to fender-mounted side mirrors, front fender vents, and rear wheel spats.

The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is provided by servo-assisted drums at each corner. Steel 16″ wheels are fitted with painted hubcaps and Pirelli tires.

The left-hand-drive cabin houses front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in red leather, and interior appointments include a dash-mounted rearview mirror, wood trim, and air conditioning. Blaupunkt speakers are installed in the parcel shelf.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames a walnut veneer dashboard with centrally mounted Smiths instrumentation that consists of a reverse-sweep 5,500-rpm tachometer with an inset clock as well as a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 37k miles, approximately 50 of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.4-liter inline-six was factory equipped with two SU carburetors and was rated at 160 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque when new. The water pump was replaced in preparation for the sale. A switch in the cabin selects which of the two fuel tanks is used, and the seller notes a leak from the tank on the driver’s side.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.

The chassis number 736583 sequence is listed as the VIN on the current Florida title prepended with the letter “A”.
