The 1961 Jaguar MK II 3.8 offered here is the much sought after manual with overdrive variant. The car is a recent South African import, with all duties paid and UK registration being applied for. The car does not have much history but does have an in house worksheet from British Sports Cars (Africa) showing a comprehensive rebuild which includes, bodywork, paint, re-trim in leather, new headlining, re chrome of bright work, engine rebuild, new clutch, service gearbox and overdrive, complete brake refurbishment and much more.
The opalescent maroon paintwork is very bright and works well with the Tan leather interior. The chrome wire wheels are good, the engine runs well with excellent oil pressure, and the car is very sound with no rust apparent as you would expect coming from South Africa.
