This 1961 Jaguar MK2 is the desirable 3.8 Litre Manual overdrive version that has recently been imported from South Africa with all duties paid and UK registration applied for. The car appears to be a very sound example with no apparent corrosion and good paintwork other than a few blemishes as shown in the pictures. The engine appears to run well but we are in the process of fixing a fuel leak from the carburettors. The interior is very good all round and the leather (not vinyl) seats have been recovered to a high standard. There are a few small chrome trim parts missing but they have been ordered. The car has now had the carburetors done with a new carburetor kit fitted having been fitted and an oil and filter change completed. The car now runs well but the clutch hydraulics have failed. A new master and slave cylinder have been ordered.
