This beautiful Jaguar Mk1 in the color Old English White with red leather upholstery was originally delivered in California, USA on February 28, 1959 with a 3.4 liter engine fitted with the famous "C" cylinder head for extra power. In the USA, this Jaguar belonged to one owner until 1999, who apparently took great care of it. Documents such as American insurance papers also show this. In 1999 the car was sold and exported to the Netherlands. Via a Jaguar Classic Specialist in the Netherlands, the car came into the possession of its second owner. This is where all maintenance and restoration work has been done since then. When the engine needed an overhaul in 2008, the current owner decided on a complete restoration involving chassis, bodywork and interior. The bodywork was given the same color again: Old English White with original red leather upholstery. The entire history of this Jaguar is extensively documented and can be completely verified. For example, there is present the original warranty certificate dated 31-7-1959, the Heritage Certificate dated 24-1-2022 as proof of "Matching Numbers" and with 59,385 Miles, 95,450Km. This Jaguar Mk1 has always been indoors and is enjoyed being driven on nice days. On the highways this fast car can easily keep up. Specifications: - Engine: 6 cylinder in line; 3.4liter; 154kW/210HP; with "C" cylinder head ± 225 HP - Transmission: 4-speed manual transmission with electric overdrive - Color: Old English White | Red leather interior, new red carpet - Body: fully restored - Chassis restored + anti-corrosion protection Further details: - Jaguar mechanical power steering (fitted by Jaguar specialist Manshande) - Complete, original repair kit. - Original manual, very comprehensive. - Third brake light built into license plate light. - Built-in "dripper" for the battery
