Ebay item 10/27/14
www.ebay.com/itm/111496622200
Current bid US $3,550 reserve not met 11 bids 6 days left in auction. 111k miles.

Sellers description:
This '59 Jag is in terrific mostly original condition, running and driving well, used regularly and kept up. Current owner purchased the car in southern California in 1972. Engine and transmission were overhauled using factory parts in 1978, engine block was sleeved and Jaguar oversized pistons fitted, otherwise original. 12v negative ground conversion at that time using GM style alternator.
The car starts and drives easily and has been used regularly by the current owner for 40 years. Consistent fluid services and indoor storage preserved the car well, but it is over 50 years old and unrestored, so less than perfect. Parking pawls are inoperative, we have been setting the handbrake for many years. The primer on the lower doors covers some light surface rust that was getting started. It does not appear to be coming through the lower sections of the door shells. The floors and rockers are solid.

The car is located in Portland, Oregon. Chassis number: 991135.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
