Sellers description:
1960 Jaguar Mark IX. 3.8L Twin overhead cam, 6 cylinder, rated at 220hp, Borg Warner 3 speed automatic transmission. Gray over white, red leather interior with wood. Servo assisted Dunlop disc brakes, power brakes. The Mark IX was the largest 4 door salon and was the top of the Jaguar line. This car was purchased from the estate of the 2nd owner, who purchased it in 1984. We have the original title dated Nov, 14, 1960 and various other records. The odometer indicates 42,168 miles and is claimed to be original. However, Georgia requires cars of this age to be sold "miles exempt" from odometer statements. The interior and leather has been restored several years ago and remains in nice condition. The car is solid with some bubble rust in the lower front doors. The front bumper is available. The car runs and would be a great restoration project.
