Ebay item 2/3/07
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $10,250 reserve not met , 8 bids, 8 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
The 1960 Jaguar MK IX presented here spent the first quarter century of its life as a pampered estate car, only to be driven on festive occasions, logging less than 29,000 miles over its first 30 years. Always rust free and never in an accident, this car drives much like a Rolls Royce of the period, but with far superior handling. Subsequently sold to a Jaguar enthusiast and JCNA member, it competed in over 35 Concours events. It has placed or won its class consistently. Some of the highlights of its show career include a win at the 1992 Meadowbrook Concours d'Elegance and scoring 98.57 points out of a possible 100 at a JCNA meet.

Always stored in a climate controlled environment, there is none of the discoloration, cracking or splitting so commonly found on models of this age. The jack and spare are immaculate, just like you would expect from a concours quality car. The factory fitted sunshine roof provides driver and passengers of the Jaguar with a convertible like traveling environment. Additional features include power assisted steering, telescoping steering wheel and original operating handbook. Spending the last several years in a private California and Texas collections, this Mark IX, retaining it's correct, original motor, has covered less than 36,000 total miles and is quite possible the lowest mileage Mark IX in existence.

Often compared to the Rolls Royce Silver Cloud, Bentley S type and Mercedes Benz 300 Adenauer, this impressive motorcar represents a tremendous opportunity to the new owner or collector, of what he or she may consider being one of the finest Mark IX Jaguar's in existence.
