An original Australian delivery Mark IX, this superb example spent some time in Queensland before coming south to Victoria with Cyril Baxter, a renowned specialist of for the Big Cats, and he restored the vehicle in the early 1990s. Nicknamed "Lofty", the Jaguar is stunning to look at with wire wheels and whitewall tyres and has been featured in the Jaguar Car Clubs Concours Catalouge. Regular use has ensured the Mark IX has been maintained to an exacting standard and upgrades to ensure the vehicle is always reliable include the fitting of an alternator. The car drives beautifully and the owners, who have cherished the Jaguar for the past twelve years, doubt there is a finer example in Victoria.
