Ebay item 12/13/16
www.ebay.com/itm/1956-Jaguar-Other-/332061188015
Car has a buy it now price of $2,500 for 20 days, seller arpaxxe, 65k miles.

Sellers description:
As a reclaimed wood salvage specialist I run into the odd interesting items in the course of buying old buildings to dismantle. This old jag has not been on the road for about 40 years. The previous owner partially took it apart and them left it. We brought it back to my son's shop and loosely reattached the fenders and hood as well as laying out the parts stored with it. Most everything seems to be there except the fan and there are a few extra bits too. The gas tanks are good. The body is rusty but not too bad and the chassis appears to be very good as are the body mounts. The car is a 4 speed manual, and the engine is the original one (stuck, even though the last owner has left oil in the cylinders). The trim is a pretty decent and almost all there including the lights, lights, trim rings, hood ornament, grille etc. The seats are poor and the trimming materials not good. The panels generally are better than they look, but will need work. This is definitely a project or great parts car. These are a wonderful car. I used to have a MK9 many years ago and can attest to their style and tremendous ride. They are actually quite sporty for a large post-war car. As an aside this car must have been originally for the European market as the speedometer is in KM's.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
