I owned this MkVII from about 1971 until around 1999. I had bought it as a non running parts car in Harrietsfield, Nova Scotia. After we towed it home and worked on it a little, it started right up and ran just fine. Despite some rust, I drove it off and on for several years. What a comfortable car to drive, especially on the highway. Had a sunroof and front bench seat.
I sold it around 1999 as a parts car. Last seen in Greenwood, N.S.
Now believed to have been been scrapped.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
