Ebay item 11/21/17 www.ebay.com/itm/1956-Jaguar-Other/222727297305
Current bid US $1,000 reserve not met 1 bid 6 days left in auction, seller reconvintage45, 42k miles.
Sellers description:
I am selling a 1956 Jaguar Mk7 M sedan. This car came from the estate of a late family friend, and sadly he never finished restoring it. This jaguar has the much desired manual transmission, since automatic cars had issues with the transmissions and are more common. This car also appears to be complete minus front windshield. Body is solid, no rust issues that I can see, some small dents and dings but nothing that can't be fixed, and a good driver quality paint job. The engine ran when he had the car painted, but has not been started since and shouldn't take much to get running. The original seats are in the car, and look to be in fantastic shape. The original fender skirts are included, but he never had them painted. The tires are in good shape, and hold air! I have a new headliner for the car. The chrome is in decent shape, some wear and corrosion spots here and there but it cleaned pretty well. Included also is the original owners manual, with info of the original owner who live in Los Angles California, and was sold on Sept. 5, 1956. This is a great car, and if I had the time and energy I would have her finished. That is why I am passing it along in hopes that someone can and will complete the car and put it back on the road.
