Ebay item 6/5/08 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $1,500, no reserve, 1 bid, 4 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
This history-making post war Jaguar sedan came equipped with the magnificant XK twin overhead cam engine and a distinctive grill, sunroof, and European styled body with full rear fender skirts. It featured a leather interior with wood dash and race car styled gauges. The extensive use of wood on the doors and other areas of the interior made it a sight to behold.
The notable Jaguar restorer, William A. Broome, began restoration several years ago with over $8,000.00 being spent for parts and labor, largely centered on the engine and chassis.
The car in its present condition will require a complete restoration. Also, the car has been somewhat disassembled. While it is largely complete, several parts are missing. In addition, there are many areas where the body is rusted, etc.
The car is being sold AS IS so bid accordingly.
