    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Classic-British-Saloon-Car-1954-Jaguar-Mark-VII-M-/18118 ...
Opening bid $8,000 reserve not met, no bids 4 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
A 1950's BRITISH CLASSIC: 1954 JAGUAR MARK VII M SALOON
All original parts, including luxury features: wood dash, chrome accents, glass, mirrors, leather
    6-cyl., 4 speed manual
    Odometer: 85,544 miles
Garaged since 1965, last started in 2001
    VIN ("Chassis number"): 738189
Purchased new circa 1954, single owner
    Requires restoration: "barn find" condition
    No significant rust

    Vehicle Condition
This 1954 Jaguar was a stunner when it was rolled into the garage in 1965: it has sat in that same spot ever since. Although it is now covered in dust, this Mark VII is fully intact and 100% original. It's luxury features include a wood dash, chrome accents (handles, grill, emblems, etc.), leather seats, and four original Jaguar tires (+one matching spare in the trunk). The sunroof opens, the doors lock, the glass is free of cracks or chips. The body is straight with no known frame damage. The engine is complete and amazingly clean (all things considered). The car was last started in 2001; no one has tried to start it since.

    Location
The vehicle is currently garaged in a small town in Big Horn County, Wyoming; the town is approximately 125 miles due south of Billings, Montana.

Opening bid $12,500 reserve not met, no bids 6 days left in auction. Car now in Cullman, Alabama.

    Sellers description:
This 1954 Jaguar MK7 M is a rare find. I purchased it from an estate in Wyoming. The previous owner had stored the car in 1964 and it was not disturbed until last year. I moved it on a trailer to Alabama and had it running within a week of getting it home. I have flushed the cooling system, cleaned the fuel tanks, rebuilt fuel pumps, rebuilt clutch and brake master cylinders. I drive the car daily. The car was originally painted whalebone white and was painted red over the white. This would make a great wedding car. I have tried to find all the rust and there is a little behind the front wheel wells and some in the wheel spats. I have not removed all the carpet, but I believe there may be some rust in the floors... I do not see any holes in the floors, but there is some "crusting" under the carpet padding. I have not restored this car, so therefore cannot identify all the rust in the car. If I could keep the car, I would take it down to the frame to restore it properly. All the gauges and instruments work and I believe all the lights work. The chrome and trim is good to excellent. All the windows and glass trim is good and cleans up nicely. Most of the rubber seals around the doors and windows will need to be replaced. All the glass is good. This is a great car for restoration. I wish I could keep it, but I cannot store it inside and will not allow it to ruin outside in the weather. I guarantee the car runs.

Note: Alabama does not provide titles for pre 1974 cars, I did receive a title from the estate in Wyoming and it is notorized.
