My father was the first owner of this car. They were a rare sight on UK roads, as most were sold overseas, mainly to the USA for valuable dollars. He had contacts in the trade, and managed to locate this Mark V at the Jaguar dealership in (I think) Stockport. I have photographs. In the mid-80s it was featured in Jaguar's own corporate calendar.
