I bought 640183 at the Sotheby’s auction at RAF Hendon in 1996. Since then it has been comprehensively restored and modified. The car has been fitted with a Getrag 5-speed gearbox, Servo front discs, wire wheels and radial tyres, rack & pinion and hydro-electric power steering.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
