1949 Jaguar Mk V Chassis No: 621721, Body No: G3700, Engine No: 1728, Gearbox No: SH 4215. In need of complete restoration. All 4 Doors have been replaced but are in need of finishing. Sitting on 16” steel wheels with chrome wheel discs. Upholstery is very poor but all seats can be recovered. The body and structure are said top be all solid with very strong chassis. The chassis itself is said to only have surface rust. Bodywork is still very strong but in need of finishing. The radiator grill is still sound but in need of rechroming.

Engine is said to be running with good compression and no leaks but has been idle for a long time. All original engine bay with original manufacturer’s plate, firewall, cast iron inlet and exhaust manifold and ancillaries. The car has the original Serck radiator, original dashboard + gauges and has a manual transmission.

Note: This vehicle requires major restoration work and is being sold as a parts car or restoration project.
