Current bid US $6,100 reserve not met 6 bids 5 days left in auction. 23k miles.

Sellers description:
This is a 1949 Jaguar 3.5 liter Mk V sedan with right hand drive. This is a very original, and un-restored car that runs, drives, steers, and stops very nicely considering the age of the vehicle. The engine starts instantly, and runs really smoothly. The car is currently registered in California, and can be driven as is, or can be a perfect candidate for restoration. It was recently fitted with new tires, and a new exhaust system. This is a really rare car in the US, or world wide for that matter, and was the first post-war design from Jaguar. It has a combination of traditional pre-war type body styling, but very modern, for 1949, chassis design. The chassis design remained virtually un-changed, in the XK series, and Mk 7,8,and 9 sedans until 1961. I am reluctantly selling this car due to my old age, and infirmity.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
