    Delivered new to Rhodesia in June 1949. First owner was a lady in Bulawayo who acquired the car in 1950, later acquired by a couple in Salisbury. In 1966 the car was acquired by Mr. A.A.C. Hill, with only 20 000miles on the clock. In 1979 Mr. Hill's son-in-law acquired the car for the cost of a 12" B&W television. Acquired in 1983 by a Mr. Johnson, Managing Director of Leyland Zimbabwe, who swapped two Jaguar Mk2 and some cash for the car. Owned at some stage by a Mr. Abdullah. Acquired in 1995 by Nigel Tucker at which stage the car was in poor condition. Taken to the UK in 1998, engine rebuilt in 2001, registered in 2004, 2005 stripped and resprayed, 2006 fitted with 5-speed Getrag gearbox and Zeus Engineering front disc brakes, 2009 re-registered with private plate 49 MKV
