Current bid $1,525 reserve not met, 8 bids, 6 days left in auction. 62k miles.
Sellers description;
This is a 1949 Jaguar Mark V Saloon with right hand drive that is an excellent candidate for restoration. This rare car comes with a sun roof and front suicide doors. The car is more than 90% complete. The engine runs and sounds strong. The body of the car is very straight and solid with almost no rust. The floor pans are intact both in the front and in the back. The interior of the car is in good condition given the age of the car. The seats have no rips or tears and the dashboard is complete. The car comes with a jack, air pump and cranking handle. After restoration this car will become a classic.

Sellers description: 1949 Jaguar MK5 Saloon RHD 3.5 Liter to Restore
This is a 1949 Jaguar MK5 Saloon that is a nice car for a restoration. It is in a rare two tone - black and brown - exterior with a red interior. The car also has the desirable 3.5 liter engine with a manual transmission. It is an original Right Hand Drive. The body of the car is straight and very solid. The frame is clean and rust free. All body panels are straight, clean and rust free. Car appears to still have the original floors. All doors still shut nice and tight. Interior is complete with all gauges on the dashboard and intact seats. Car comes with new wood for the dashboard. Engine is original and complete. Chrome appears to be mostly complete. Car is missing headlights, some glass and some interior chrome accessories like door knobs etc. Overall this is a clean, straight and solid Jaguar MK5 that is a very good candidate for a restoration. More pictures are available.
We ship worldwide. Car has a clear title and other documents for export. Shipping, for a car of this size in a shared container, to major European ports of Rotterdam, Antwerp, Bremerhaven and Le Havre is approx. $1,200. Other European ports will be slightly higher.
Please note - given the age and uniqueness of this car all sales are final. Please feel free to ask any number of questions and also please feel free to ask for more pictures. You are also welcome to come and inspect the car for yourself. (The car is standing in College Point NY 11356 - which is about 20 minutes east of New York City.) However since this car is very old we possibly cannot check each and every item on the car. As such the car is strictly sold on as-is basis and all sales are final.
