    Auction description:
    Manufacturer Jaguar Cars
    Model 3.5 Litre DHC
    First Registered 1948
    Registration No TBA
    Engine No S3622
    Chassis No 617091
    MOT May 2012
    Colour Maroon

This beautiful car has been the subject of a meticulous, nut and bolt restoration and is offered complete with a number of photographs detailing that work. To confirm the quality of the restoration, the car is accompanied by a number of official concours score sheets from the "Jaguar Clubs of North America" where it consistently scored over 99.5 points with a best score of 99.82. This translates into a near perfect car, for concours purposes.

Originally registered through Henlys, London to a Mr. R. A. Chalk on 14th October 1948, the car left the factory on 30th September 1948 in Birch Grey. The actual build was signed off on 17th August. The car is then picked up in California in 1999, where it has resided until now and is finally being repatriated to its homeland.

Finished in maroon with complimentary hide, the car is complete with a Heritage Certificate, owner's instruction manual, data sheets and a service manual, in addition to the paperwork previously mentioned. The car has just been MoT tested and has benefited from re-spoked wire wheels.

This 3.5 litre Jaguar is simply outstanding and drives exceptionally well.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
