Auction description:

Monaco title
1963 Jaguar Mk X
Chassis No. 352314 DN
- Only two owners
- Exceptional state of preservation
- Luxury model, all manuals
- No reserve
This car has only known two owners. Before our current Monegasque collector discovered it, it belonged to a British diplomat stationed in Italy and now displays only 77,780 km from new. Thanks to this rare past, it comes with its original toolkit, and a very complete folder including invoices and original manuals, but above all it presents a state of preservation well above average. Inside, the varnished wood has retained all its shine and shows no signs of wear, and the red leather upholstery remains in great condition. Outside, the paintwork in a sober metallic blue/gray has been partially preserved while some parts have been carefully redone. It beautifully serves the stretched shape of this luxury sedan. The Mk X was targeted Rolls-Royce and Bentley customers when it was launched in 1961 and displayed a high-level finish combined with great technical modernity: monocoque structure, completely independent suspension, and engine identical to that of the Type E, which gave the car brilliant performance for a sedan of this size. Additionally, it was extremely spacious, and its rear seat remains the widest of any Jaguar produced.
The car one offer combines the exclusivity of the model and the exceptional character of its preservation: a rare combination indeed.
