car was purchased and used mainly to deliver tractor front end loaders around the south Island. It was always a fast trip from Christchurch,to Timaru, oamaru and the otago district , or over the pig root to some farm were a loader would be fitted to a waiting tractor, then back home usually in one day. arriving back home round midnigth. speedo would usually hover round 80-90 mph
with the trailer on. Christmas holidays were the same but a caravan was substituted for the trailer. The drawbar is extended all the way to were the springs are mounted. and migthy solid. In the boot was a gas plant with small bottles, arc welder, sockets spanners stilsons pipe fiitings. bolts everything an engineer migth need.
