This MK2 Jaguar is a two owner car. The owner purchased the car in 1968 and drove sparingly for several years until storing in the early 1990's. This car features the 3.8 litre engine sought after by collectors and enthusiasts and was running when stored but has not been started since putting away. The interior needs work but the car is an excellent candidate for restoration and enjoyment. Factory tool kit is 90% complete. The vehicle is located in Rochester, NY.

1964 Jaguar MK II has been in storage over 20 years. Current owner has owned the car since 1966 and wishes to sell at this time. Excellent vehicle for restoration. Exterior fair to good, interior needs work but the car is basically solid. Car was running when put into storage and driven regularly at that time. Located in Rochester, NY

undercarriage. It performs as a Jaguar should: tight and quiet, with excellent acceleration, reaching speeds above 80 MPH with little effort. This is a car that was made to drive beautifully, and having spent its entire life under attentive stewardship, it still does to this day.

Lot #1034 - This matching-numbers 1964 Jaguar Mark II is an excellent example that is finished in a traditional color combination of Old English White over a blue leather interior. The early sedan is fitted with a powerful, standard Jaguar 3.8-liter engine that is matched with a 4-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The car recently benefited from a major service, where the team at Classic Showcase tended to the following: a comprehensive tune-up, SU carburetor rebuild, a gas tank cleaning (which included epoxy sealing and repainting), a new fuel pump, a new stainless-steel exhaust system, a full hydraulic system overhaul, new suspension bushings, brightwork replacement as needed, upholstery improvements and wet sanding and buffing the body. The Mark II includes 4-wheel disc brakes, bucket seats, and complete factory wood trim throughout. Other features include a period-correct AM/FM stereo, center console, fender-mounted dual mirrors, chromed knockoff wire wheels and wide whitewall tires. A JDHT Certificate accompanies the car.
