Current bid $1,713.88 reserve not met, 10 bids 9 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
1963 Jaguar Mark II 3.8 with a rare Webasto sunroof.

The Mark II being offered here for auction was last on the road in 1996. It has a manual transmission with over drive. The car runs and drives. All of the gears shift and over drive works. Most of the lights work. The generator is not charging. The fuel tank sending unit is not working. The brakes work will need to be bled. The front seats were recovered. The back seats have some tears. The door panels are not perfect but are in good condition. Wood is in good condition. Chrome OK, could go for replating, especially the pot metal. Tires are in good condition, wire wheels are rusted.

Floor and trunk are in very good condition. There is rust in the right rocker panel and lower section of rear right door and front right door. The section under the radiator has rust. I drove the car and the oil pressure is excellent, water temperature is good. Front left wheel will need a wheel bearing. There is a valve noise when the car is cold, and it smokes a little while excellerating. It needs to be driven.

This is a good car for restoration. The previous owner kept meticulous records. I have scanned one page form the book that comes with the car. He has documented everything that was done to the car down to changing a flat. The page I scanned was when the engine was rebuilt in 1977 the odometer at the time showed 80,000 miles. Current mileage I have listed above is correct. There is some minor tears to the bottom of the title I have posted a picture.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
