This 1963 Jaguar Mark II is Opalescent Maroon, the original color, with a black leather interior. The car has been upgraded with a 5 speed manual transmission, electric windows, air conditioning, XJ power steering, new paint and interior, and over $20,000 in mechanical work. Should one desire to know all the work that has been done to the car, we are happy to provide the details and a list of what has been done. This work included a new exhaust, new fuel tank, an aluminum radiator, new shocks, new braking system, recently rebuilt carbs, and an electronic ignition, among other things. We believe that during the restoration a replacement 3.8 engine was installed. The wood on the car is original and has not been restored. The chrome overall is good but there are some pieces that need to be rechromed. The car runs and drives very well and would make a very practical classic car that could be used daily.
