Car to be at auction 11/06
    www.classicauctions.co.uk/car_entries_index.html

    Auction description:
    1960 JAGUAR MK2 3.8 LITRE
    LHD - EXCELLENT RESTORED EXAMPLE

    Lot 50
    Estimate £12000 - 15000
    Mileage 67937
    Colour WHITE
    Trim Colour RED
    Chassis No 210285BW
    Engine No LA1261
    Registration No T.B.A.
    CC 3781
    M.O.T NONE
Finished in white with red upholstery, this particular left-hand drive example is variously described by the vendor as being in "redone" (electrical equipment), "very good" (paintwork), "excellent" (engine, automatic gearbox, chassis, bodywork) or "virtually new" (tyres) condition. The subject of extensive restoration work in America before being shipped to France during the current ownership, chassis number 210285BW is since said to have been "completely gone through by a Jaguar expert". Consequently thought to possess "no drawbacks", it boasts such niceties as a stereo, silver-painted wire wheels and fold-down rear picnic trays. Believed but not warranted to have covered just 67,937 miles from new, this smart Jaguar would be well suited to Continental touring duties or indeed continuing its life in France.

    Info from Justin banks website.

Our car was first registered in the USA during 1960
The car was imported to France in 2002
The Registration Number is 7191XP02 (Registered in France)
    The Chassis Number is 210285BW
    The Engine number is LA1261

There have only been 1 owner in Europe
There are 67,000 Miles on the clock.

This is a US car but is currently has French Papers and all EU Taxes have been paid. There is not a large history file with the and I do not have any receipts of the comprehensive restoration.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
