Car to be at Coy's auction 3/10
www.coys.co.uk/auctions/lot.php
Auction description:
Lot 229
Registration Number: 221 AYN
Chassis Number: 201558BW
The elegant Jaguar Mk. II 3.8 is presented in good condition and equipped with the automatic Borg Warner transmission. Subtle upgrades include an E-Type head with 2 inch carburettors which offer that performance edge. Maintained by specialists including Martin Robey the car is supplied with extensive receipts, V5 document, MoT certificate valid until July of this year and the original green log book. Finished in British Racing Green with a green hide interior this an exceptionally fine example of the Mk II and the legend, ‘pace, grace and space‘ is entirely appropriate in this instance.
Estimate: £14000 - £17000
