This Daimler 250 V8 saloon has also been used for wedding hire and it is finished in Burgundy with Tan interior and it is in lovely condition throughout. It was bought several years ago from a local garage and it has had much work carried out on it since.

It is the more usual automatic version with wire wheels and although there are a few blemishes on the paintwork it is a very straight car indeed and looks very sound. The interior and the wood are nice and original and the brightwork is also in good condition. It has a current M.O.T. test until March next year and it is also taxed until May next year.

These cars are fast appreciating in interest and value as people are beginning to realise that they are no longer the poor relation to the Jaguars but are superb cars in their own right and drive very well indeed. A must for the discerning collector.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
