Car to be at auction 10/10
www.barons-auctions.com/details.php
Auction description:
Manufacturer Jaguar Cars
Model MKII 3.4/340 Saloon
First Registered 1968
Registration No UGP427F
Engine No 7J51617-8
Chassis No 1J.513058W
MOT May 2011
Colour White
Offered here is a 1967 340 Automatic, which has covered just 20,800 miles at the time of writing in the hands of three previous owners. This mileage is warranted as being correct and is supported by history dating back to a 6000 mile service in 1971, right up to a recent oil change.
Finished in Old English White with red interior, the car does have the usual 340 trim and bumpers but retains the fog and spot lamps that are usually deleted. It is descried as being in completely unmolested, unrestored, original condition throughout.
The 340 Jaguar is, by far, the rarest of all Jaguar Saloons and the rarest MKII by a large margin. There were just 2265 examples of the 340 in RHD form and another 535 lhd examples. Automatic examples are quitre rare. Cars that match this specification, with just 20,000 miles on the clock just don't exist. We would suggest that this car is unique.
Estimate £15000-21000
