This is a UK market original 1968 3.4 car that has covered 51,000 miles. This is supported by previous MOTs and a detailed history file. Bought by our vendor early in 2011, the car had already received a bare metal full restoration of the body with a full photographic record on file. It had also won several concours competitions both locally and nationally.

Our vendor wanted the inside of his smart Mk II to match his new Bentley, and thus commissioned a full interior re-trim which included all carpets, leather seats, headlining and a refurbishment of both the dashboard and all wood veneer trim.

He also wanted a modern sound system but to preserve the original dashboard, so he had fitted a modern Sony sound system with I-Pod connector but with a unique period radio front. Finally, he also wanted his children to travel safely - so he fitted new seat belts all round, complete with mascot adorned buckles. More recently the car has had new period wire wheels with Pirelli Tyres fitted, new number plates, a new battery and it has had a full service at a specialist Jaguar dealer.

Ready to drive and enjoy, this car is ideal for tours, rallies or long distance, comfortable European trips in a true British Classic.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
