Sellers description:
1966 jaguar mark x project car. i obtained this car in 2002 from a local body shop which had already started the restoration. vandals broke out all of the windows..and the owners heart..as he gave up the restoration project because of the cost of replacing the glass. since acquiring i have purchased all of the glass with new window rubber. however i have not had the time to put elbow to the grease so it is time to let this beauty go to someone who can. please note: the engine was a running engine the the resto was started, but has not been run in several years so i can not vouch for condition of the engine. i was planning on dropping a chevy 400 in it anyway. this car has also been setting outside for the past year, so will require lots of elbow grease. there will be some rust issues on the floor pan. all interior will need restored/replaced. should be an easy project for a woodworker tho. the beauty of this car is that the body has been done by professionals, however, because it is only primered there are a few places where rust has broken back through the surface, one small spot appears to be cancer, but overall the body work should be very minimal to create one hot rod.
