This lovely 1968 S-Type is presented in white with contrasting deep blue leather interior. With a genuine 69,000 miles recorded, it is offered with a Jaguar Heritage certificate and accompanied by over £8,000 of bills including a £2,500 engine re-build of its highly desirable 3.8 litre engine mated to a manual with overdrive gearbox.

From the extensive history file, it is clear that between 1996 and 1999 the meticulous owner spent vast sums of money and a great deal of time on this S-Type ensuring all components were as they should be. Amongst the voluminous pile of documents are entrances to classic car rallies and car shows; testament to the care and enthusiasm throughout his ownership. The car also comes with the original tool kit, operating, maintenance and servicing handbooks and service history from its original sale in 1968 to 1970. In the last 17 years, this example has covered less than 2,000 miles and has had its cylinder heads modified to run on unleaded fuel. The paintwork would benefit from some tlc but overall this is a lovely S-Type which has had much care and attention lavished on it and to drive it is a treat.
