Registration Number BGV 822C
Chassis No. 1B54180BW
Engine size 3,781 cc
Engine No. 7B57039-8

Estimate £15,000 - £17,000
The previous owner of this 1965 3.8 litre S-Type did have the bodywork attended to and the paintwork done over 10 years ago, and it still looks good. He also had the interior refurbished and new carpets fitted. Roses Garage in Sandwich did much of the work as well as overhauling the brakes, cylinder head and generally servicing the car. The petrol tank was removed at the same time and cleaned thoroughly.
The car has recently had new wheels fitted and the bumpers re-chromed. Unfortunately, not all the receipts are on file, but is believed that over £10,000 has been spent on the car to get it in this condition. However it does come with a V5C, an MOT until April 2019 and a Jaguar Service Manual.
BGV 822C looks pin-sharp in its forest green paintwork and the cream hide upholstery keeps the interior light and bright - the rear seats look as though they have never been used. This is a very smart S-Type that will give you all the joys of Mk2 ownership, but with improved handling and a discount on the cost of the Mk2.
