Opening bid $1,750, no bids yet, 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
1964 Jaguar 3.8 S RHD saloon, 4 speed with OD, 88K miles. Original UK car, still has long UK front licence plate holder. Body 4B5304D, engine 7B53119. Engine can be started with ignition key and runs quietly, no leaks, car is mobile but has not been driven on highway as brake hydraulics need rebuilding. Lights and instruments work. Interior complete and original but leather is dry and varnish needs to be refinished. Sheet metal good, never wrecked, sills and floors and boot very good and in original paint. No Bondo. Only rust is in the crows foot area. Fuel system intact but is fed using original SU pump and line to carbs fed from a supplementary tank. Missing the spot light bulbs.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
