Car to be at auction 5/13
classiccars.brightwells.com/viewdetails.php

Auction description:
Lot number 79
Hammer value N/S (est. £5,500 - £6,500)
Description Daimler 420 Sovereign
Registration WRA 383F
Year 1968
Colour Silver
Engine size 4,235 cc
Chassis No. 1A32726BW
Engine No. 7A33021-8

This particular Daimler automatic dates from March 1968 and has had just five owners to date. Within the last 12 months it has been subject to much expenditure including: a full brake overhaul; new front shock absorbers and ball joints; new front subframe mountings; carburettors rebuilt; engine tuned and serviced; electronic ignition fitted; new battery; new tyres; new carpets; new headlining and sunvisors.

Said to drive really well, it comes with a long MOT and is 'on the button' and ready to go.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
