VIN 179557DN

Engine 3.4

Transmission manual

Exterior Color Grey

Interior Blue leather in excellent condition

This Jaguar is in excellent mechanical condition. It starts every time with all gauges working properly.

The interior is in excellent condition and was refurbished in 1979 by the second owner. The wood is in good condition and presents nicely with the rest of the interior including the original headliner.

The Vin # indicates that this car is powered by the 3.4 XK engine with manual steering and a manual transmission with DeNormanville overdrive. This mark II was number 637 out of 741 manufactured during 1963 in the United Kiingdom. The car was stored for over 20 years in a dry garage and did not run when I purchased it. It was stored properly which allowed me to get it running with little effort. (A complete list of all mechanical repairs is included). However, when stored the paint received many scratches and the hood and front fenders were used as shelves for miscellaneous items causing the paint issues visible in the pictures.

The chrome remains in excellent condition.

The milage is accurate and documented by the title, previous owner's records and the mechanics at Treasured Motors in New Freedom, PA.

The car comes with the Jaguar Heritage Certificate verifying the matching numbers, complete tool kit, owner's manual, jack, spare tire, and workshop manual.

For my purposes, I enjoy the car as is and appreciate the driving experience of a classic Jaguar sedan.

The following is the list of repairs as of 4/15/25:

New water pump belt/fan belt 12/10/24

Repaired parking brake 12/10/24

Installed rebuilt/original brake servo unit air cleaner 12/11/24

New voltage regulator 2/1/25

Front brake pads replaced 2/25/25

Front Wheel Cylinders replaced 2/25/25

Suspension lubrication according to original chart 2/25/25

New Brake Master Cylinder 4/2/25

New Vacuum Hose 4/2/25

The new owner may want to have the car repainted as the current paint condition is fair but has flaws in the front fenders and sides. Most of the surface shines and the excellent condition of the chrome accentuates the color.

The Panhard rod should be replaced and the rear brakes function properly but will need to be replaced in the future.

There is some rust in the undercarriage.

The car runs and shifts very well including the overdrive. It starts every time and is a joy to drive.

Asking Price $19,750
