Today the Mark II is regarded as one of the great British classic cars and we are pleased to be able to offer this 1965 3.4 Litre model. Fitted with the desirable overdrive manual gearbox we are told by the vendor that this car has been recently resprayed in the original metallic opalescent dark green although this is ‘somewhat patchy in places’ but ‘the bodywork seems very good with just some slight rust starting on the rear spats.’ The wire wheels are said to need ‘some attention.’ Coopercraft front brakes have been fitted and we are told that the engine and gearbox ‘work very well with no faults.’ Inside is a new roof lining and new carpets with good woodwork on the door cappings and dashboard. The beige leather seats have been recoloured. On view in the documents office will be a history file containing MOTs back to 1986, heritage certificate, letters from previous owners, a large number of bills and original green logbook. With an MOT and tax until June next year this Mark II will be ready to drive away from the sale could be a very stylish and individual everyday driver.
