Seller's description:
This Jaguar MK II saloon from 1965 is a sought-after left-hand drive car with the rare manual gearbox and chrome spoke wheels with central locks.
The vehicle is in Dusseldorf, Germany, and not in Kitzbühl, Austria!
The leather interior has already been renewed once and presents itself in good condition. The bodywork is in decent, usable condition. No rusting through from above is visible. The manufacturer's birth certificate (Jaguar Heritage) is present. The car was in a collection for 20 years.
The colour of the saloon is cream with a blue interior. The papers are from Beirut, Lebanon.
The engine runs. Some damage, however, has arisen due to the car being unused, such as the current less than optimal braking performance. Therefore, further work is to be expected, and there are still investment options to get the vehicle up and running.
This saloon exudes a timeless charm. Not only does it have a long history, but also impressive technical equipment. The Jaguar MK II was first introduced in 1959 and quickly became the favourite of many motorists. The saloon was a symbol of elegance and class and was driven by many celebrities and politicians.
The vehicle up for auction here dates from 1965 and is in need of restoration. The 2.4 litre inline six-cylinder engine will provide impressive performance and an unparalleled driving experience when restored. The condition of the vehicle is approximately 3-4.
If you are looking for a classic car that exudes elegance and class whilst at the same time providing impressive performance, then this Jaguar MK II saloon is the perfect car for you.
