1966 Jaguar MK II 2.4 being sold by the deceased estate. The car has been standing for some time (several years) but was running before that, although it has not been on the road for some considerable time. The car is being sold as a non-running restoration project, but does benefit from the all synchromesh overdrive gearbox. This is certainly one for a keen enthusiast but the vendor is hoping for the car to go to a good home. The car is being offered with no reserve.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
