This manual transmission 2.4-litre Mark 2 was purchased in New Zealand in 1989. The body was stripped back to bare metal and repainted prior to the car being exported to the Republic of Ireland, where it was registered on 27th October 1989. The odometer reading at time of purchase was 113,500 miles and is now 115,760 miles. In storage for many years, the Mark 2 has been partially re-commissioned, receiving a new water pump, battery, ignition points, tyres, and a stainless steel exhaust system. The engine is said to run very well, but we are advised that the brakes and clutch need further work before the car can be driven. Finished in British Racing Green with cream leather interior, the car is offered with sundry invoices and an Irish registration document.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
