Sellers description:
1962 Jaguar Mark II

This is a project in case you had doubts.....

THis is a 1962 Jaguar Mark II with the 2.4/4 speed with OD and 4 wheel disk brakes. This car is 99% complete minus one headlight. She has had alot of work done to her so far and needs to be finished.

The car has 107k total miles on her and the last time she was on the road was 1986. She had her oil changed then and the service sticker shows 750 miles since.

I am VERY NEW to the British project car scene and thought this would be a car somebody would love to restore. I HOPE SO! All the parts are in GREAT SHAPE and it looks like alot of them were redone or were in great shape to begin.

THis car has had some rust issues but most of them have been worked with and she is mostly she is solid. Somebody spent alot of time reworking the body and no she just needs the body grinded and everything smoothed out. The floors are good minus one hole in the corner on the passenger side. The trunk and tire well are in very good shape.

Mechanically the motor is free and my bet is that it will ot take much. She was taken off the road running and turns freely. The brakes work.

2.4 litre
4 Speed Manual
Over Drive
Original Wire rims
Power Steering
4 Wheel disk brakes
EXCELLENT GLASS
Original color? Red? Maybe?

The interior is all there and will obviously need some reworking. The headliner is in perfect shape and all the wood seems to be very usable.

So, where are you in Seattle?
Are you not going to finish it?
I am across the lake.
I have a 1964 RHD 2.4L MKII, drive it daily.
Tell me if you plan on finishing it, maybe we can talk.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
