Conceived and built by Charles Russell Classic Cars LLP in 2015, this car's specialist conversion includes fitting a 4.2-litre Supercharged Jaguar AJ V8 engine producing 400 bhp. Finished in Old English White with an Oxblood leather interior, this MK2 presents a balance of originality and enhancement. "Save for a few subtle cues, it looks like a standard MK2. It is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, however, and able to keep up with the quickest cars on the road. Lethal at a classic track day, it is extremely well-mannered and could also be a daily driver. It recently completed a tour of Ireland in the company of a brace of performance and supercars and commanded much admiration and respect. My son and I have enjoyed showing and demonstrating this car over the years. It presents beautifully, but is not so perfect that it cannot be used and enjoyed."
